We found today that the 18 fourth graders will be relocated to a
fourth grade only class and that we will be getting 19 more third
graders to join our 6 current third graders. Dang.

My reading lessons was today, I read “Seven Chinese Sisters” , a
picture book, I was attempting to have the students predict thee
story, while still walking around the room to lessen any behaviors.
I found that I am far too tolerant of bad behavior and that I must
crack down a little harder.

Another huge distraction today, EARTHQUAKE drill killed an hour of
time to get writing and math completed. Teachers have to cope with a lot.

I finally saw thousands being taught, it was by turning 1’s into
pennies,so 1,000 became 10.00 dollars. Fantastic.
