Today we did constitution day. My Master Teacher talked about voting, the flag, women’s rights, and the founding fathers. Then they were shown 30 minutes of School house rock dealing with Bills to Law, women's suffrage, and the 3 branches of government, the kids were totally engrossed. They also made their own American flag to take home. I think this was more “ooooooo…moving pictures” rather than learning, but the state requirements were met.
The new fourth grade teacher got replaced by another. The Principal came in and told the students that they did not do anything bad and it was her choice to move them. They took it hard and there were lots of tears.
